Chef Jörin is the Dean of the Baking & Pastry Arts department. As Group Leader of my class, I worked closely with Chef Jörin. He was the proctor for the Skills Evaluations, in which I received scores of 93%, and 97%.

Chef Isaac taught Basic & Classical Cakes, as well as Hearth Breads & Rolls. Chef Isaac continually challenged me by  providing additional recipes for me to execute. He was the Executive Pastry Chef at many locations, most notably The Fairmont Hotel, San Francisco. 

John Difilippo, Chef- Instructor

Chef Difilippo is an adjunct instructor who taught Individual & Production Pastries. Prior to CIA, he was the Executive Pastry Chef of Auberge du Soleil, and Pastry Chef at various Ritz-Carlton Hotels. Chef Difilippo was the proctor for the Practical Exam, in which I received a score of 94%.

Josie and her husband Blair Casey opened their first location in 2013. I was part of the opening production team for their second location in 2015. I created new seasonal flavours, and was involved in the front of house, social media, and the kitchen.
